'Niftyinvestors' - Indian Mutual Fund AUM Surges to. Rs. 8.68 Lakh Crore

Department of Indian mutual funds, managed asset value of 8.68 lakh crore rupees which is increased in May. The main reason is reduction of interest rates by the Reserve Bank to increase the investors to come to invest in debt funds.
In May Equity funds investment was 2910 crore, this is the record high of last eight months. 25,000 crore rupees are invested in funds such as Long term Debt Funds, Short-term Debt Fund, including Fixed Income maturity Fund.
Investing in debt funds is increasing. Small investors are highly interest to invest on debt funds in the current environment.

In the past 25 months investment in liquid funds increased to Rs 2.06 lakh crore , in the month of May, Long-term and medium-term bonds has only 3 percent of income.
